The Weather is Warm! The Chili Beans Are Hot!
Despite the forecast that it is rainy and gloomy here in Fancy Gap, VA, as I sit and work on the website images, adding new products and posting news, it is quite warm and pleasant and sunny outside. And the deli is smelling so good! Charles and Margaret were up at 7am here at the deli making chili hot and fresh for you today. It is a perfect day for chili–of course it is Fall so the feelings of the warm sun waft back and forth between a crispy little breeze. Still, for now, no rain, no snow. Very clear roads. Better come get some chili today while we have some left! I plan on staying through lunch so I can enjoy!!

Just stopped in at The Gap Deli by the Parkway! Cissy has Chicken n Dumplins on special today. Perfect for the autumn chill. Not too cold here in Fancy Gap and visibility is still good. Its overcast but no precipitation. The driving is fine! Y’all come on out and get a hearty lunch!
